Ministry in Uzhgorod

The Transform Uzhgorod Alliance was formed in November 2016 for the purpose of transforming Uzhgorod by the power of God so that everyone has access to food, freedom and forgiveness (physical, social and spiritual needs). The Alliance consists of eight local churches, ten Ukrainian Christian organizations, and six international mission agencies.

This website is designed to bring people together to help the oppressed that live within the city of Uzhgorod, Ukraine. It is a tool allowing Alliance members to better cooperate with each other, and in finding partners outside the Alliance to come alongside and provide resources to bring about this transformation.

Currently the Alliance has four working groups. Three are focused on specific people groups within the community – Roma, Orphans, and Youth. The fourth group, Evangelism, exists with the goal that everyone within the city will hear the Gospel by 2020. Our goal will be to expand to other people groups over the next few years so that no one is invisible and everyone has value.
